William joined Tribal DDB Shanghai as Creative Director in early 2007. During 2007 to 2008, William has created an exciting McDonalds' McSavers and “I'm lovin' it when china win” online Campaigns with total digital solutions included videos, engaging competition and interactive event site. Those campaigns have won gold at China Effie and Best of Effective award at Media Asia award which is been a huge success in raising awareness of the McDonald's business in China.

William Chang was educated at the School of Visual Arts, New York where he majored in Computer arts. He started his career as an interactive designer at Character wave LCC in New York in 2001. After September 11th, he moved back to his hometown, Taipei.

From 2001 to 2004, William worked at Ogilvy Taiwan and Leo Burnett Taiwan, where he serviced clients including McDonald's, Heineken and Motorola. In 2005 William joined WWWINS ISOBAR. He then moved to Shanghai and created a well-known project such as iCoke.cn for Coca Cola's until 2006. The iCoke.cn was a successful online platform and gained over 6 million online members in just 6 weeks.

From 2006 to 2007 he was Group head of interactive team of Arc worldwide based in Shanghai. He led the team and provided digital creative solutions for McDonald's China. He was also a judge on the panel of China interactive advertising awards in 2006.
